Mount Cameroon Hikes

Our most recommended two-day hike to the summit of mount Cameroon. Mount Cameroon is in the city of Buea also known as “the city of legendary hospitality”. At 4,100m above sea level, it is not only the highest peak on the west Africa coast but also the most active volcano. It is fun and adventurous hiking through the indigenous forest to the savanna right up to the summit. We scramble over rock faces which provide an element of heights and exposure which gives us some much-needed therapy, not just for our bodies, but also for our moods, minds, and relationship.

Day 1 – Arrival & pick up at Douala International airport, we may spend a night in Douala – refresh and rest in comfortable Hotel / Guest house, visit Douala Grand Mall for personal shopping and then travel Buea, indulge yourself with our delicious meal seasoned with tropical spices taste, spend time for cross-cultural orientation.

Day 2 – Get Breakfast in the morning, Go for a town tour – visit our memorial Monument symbol of celebration of 50 years of independence of Cameroon, Gym time, Lunch at nice restaurant downtown, local market, storytelling, Mount Cameroon Hiking orientation. Dinner at night.

Day 3 – Ascension to Mount Cameroon – the goal is to reach hut 1 and hut 2.: we spend a night, refresh, relaxation and Barbecue and camping at the second shelter. Guided tour through the caves where we will finds geological attractions.

Day 4 – Accession to Mount Cameroon – the goal is to reach hut 3 and return to hut 2 and Hut 1. Spend a night, rest, photos taken, eat and spend a night. Barbecue and camp at Mann Spring.

Day 5 – Early morning - Descent into the forest to the crater lake. Chance to see elephants. Barbecue and camping at Drink-Gary the city of Buea, physical exercises, rest, and refresh.

Day 6 – Rest, refresh, and prep for a special and unique cultural event!

Day 7 – Drop off at the airport of Douala international Airport. - you may travel back to your home country or visit others beautiful touristic places in Cameroon.

Limbe Beach Tour

This tour takes you to a unique beache in Cameroon, all open to the Atlantic ocean. It gives you an overview of the diversity of Cameroon. Sand beaches, black volcanic sand beaches in Limbe. It also offers a spectacular view of Mount Cameroon, the second highest peak in Africa. We also walk on the lava cooled volcanic eruption of Mount Cameroon from 1999. Enjoy also the famous fish braised Down-Beach (Limbe), a popular destination for tourists. All this combined with eco-tourism in the botanical garden and zoo in Limbe. You will see the banana plantations and tea, and you attend a meeting of traditional dance.
