GORGE DE KOLA

The Kola Gorge is a gigantic open-air work of art. An artistic creation that nature has taken care to execute in its own way. Essentially composed of rocks polished by violent water currents, which can reach more than twenty meters in height, the Kola Gorges offer a spectacular panorama unique of its kind to visitors.

Many urban legends surround this tourist spot. The most popular is that concerning one of the parts of the Kola Gorge which has been nicknamed “the devil’s apartment”. It is said that this place would have served as a home to the first occupants of this locality. And that there would have been rites that took place there. Some people even often say they feel their presence, so it is difficult to know if this statement is credible.

PARC BOUBADJIDA

Bouba N’djida National Park is one of the national parks of Cameroon, located in the Northern region, bordering Chad. This park is crossed by numerous seasonal watercourses and by a permanent river, the Mayo Sénaroua. With an area of ​​220,000 ha, it is the largest national park in the country, but it is also the most isolated. Halfway between Ngaoundéré and Garoua, it is accessible by road and track. Less popular than the Waza National Park in the far north region of Cameroon which nevertheless has fewer species, it is the last refuge where all the species of wild animals of the wooded savannah specific to the region live. It adjoins the Chadian park of Sena Oura.
