WAZA PARC

This tour gives you the chance to explore the best of North Cameroon and visit one of the biggest parks in West Africa; the Waza National Park, found a few kilometres from the borders of Nigeria and Chad.

With an area of 170. 000 hectares, the Waza N. P offers diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, ostriches, antelopes, several species of birds, etc. The park initially began as a hunting reserve and became a national park in 1968. In 1979, the park achieved a UNESCO World Heritage status as a biosphere reserve.
The tour will also permit you to experience the famous lunar peaks of Rhumsiki within the Mandara Mts and much more.
Plenty of driving is involved and this offers you a great opportunity to have a good vision safari of the Cameroonian landscape. You should also look forward to spending quality time with the northern locals in their villages and exploring the art of different handicrafts that many of them are experts in.

Drive to Rhumsiki, famous for its mighty lunar peaks.
Day 4: Rhumsiki - Oudjilla - Waza National Park
Visit the craft villages, Oudjilla Chief Palace & Waza N. P
Day 5: Waza National Park
Whole day spend in the park

Day 6: Waza - Pouss - Maga
Drive to Pouss, admire the Mousgoum shell huts, visit the Sultanate. Drive to Maga, visit the lake, fishing village & market.
Day 7: Maga - Mindif - Maroua
Drive to Mindif, discover its teeth-shaped mts, & meet renowned artists and calabash carvers
Day 8: Maroua - Bidzar - Gorges of Kola - Garoua - Yaounde
Drive to archaeological site of Bidzar. Visit Gorges of Kola, some gigantic rocky rifts. Drive to Garoua & fly to Yaounde
Day 9: Yaounde - Nsimalen Airport
City tour and transfer to airport for home flight.

MOUNT RHUMISIKI

The picturesque landscapes of Kapsiki / Rhumsiki In Maroua, is a famous village Rhumsiki. The trail that leads to dramatically during 45Km winds through the mountain range where Kapsiki strange monoliths looming volcanic dykes, tops sometimes a hundred meters.

The village is an impressive backdrop of peaks and dykes. "the crab sorcerer" who will tell you your past and predict your future then, with blacksmiths, tanners, potters, and artisans in.

The camp Rhumsiki consists of 26 rooms in comfortable air-conditioned bungalows, a restaurant, and bar, a hot shower, WC. In the village, Camp Rhumsiki offers you accommodation in rustic comfort. The Mandara Mountains region is conducive to trekking from one village to another to discover their habits and customs, with nights under the stars unforgettable

Trips to the two national parks are also on the itinerary; the Waza national park and the Benoué national park.
You will be able to see lions, giraffes, elephants, and monkeys up close.

- Visit the Mafa's market, this is a very populated region

Shopping and returning back to the airport of Douala.
